World Cup 2010 Football – Culture, Entertainment or Ancient Heritage.

World Cup 2010 Football – Culture, Entertainment or Ancient Herritage.

It has often been discussed, whether football and all other kinds of sport can be classified as cultural events, entertainment or may be a heritage from the ancient times without any specific posture in our many boxes of theme headings.

The word “culture” originates from the Latin word “cultura” which again means “fauna” – a bucket of many colors, shapes and styles.

Needless is it to say, that football has interested fans and active players in milliards all over the world and a rallying point to different cultures and humans from 5 to 100+ years of age. I am one of those, who consider any kind of sport as culture in terms of united cultures, artistic individual skills, talent and cultural events presenting folklore of many different people united in a unique and colorful atmosphere.

Another aspect is the amount of money now being a part of the professional sport fields and it may of course be quite individual how to judge the value of a team or persons working as professionals. Many artists would probably be happy to benefit from their art works in a similar way whilst being alive even though I do know that some of the high classified artists may have a similar score.

A surplus to the professional sport fields will always be a huge attraction to kids all over the world and millions of sport organizations are today represented with skilled leaders to ensure the knowledge and solidarity to be a part of future skills and in line with some of our important issues today – peace, harmony and accept of other cultures.

Many professionals with a human insight to the world of hunger, poor and sick people are contributing quite a lot to the area of humanity worldwide. Special events are arranged all over the world to the benefit of aid programs under the leadership of established NGO organizations. Those events might of course be classified as entertainment to many, but under the circumstances and with a view on the entire circle it is indeed culture on a high class level involving that many aspects of skilled work to milliards of people.

The various professional art fields could learn a lot depending of course the ability to work in teams, disciplined in own focus and ready to collaborate in bigger groups or organizations.

All the best
