WHEN CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT CONNECTS THE UNCONNECTED.
I`m delighted to see how much our group increased in members during the past few days thanks to our new “admins” who worked a lot to spread out the knowledge of our existents. It is indeed a pleasure working with the very active aspects to our goals in reality whenever we have the support and people who are aware of those possibilities we can offer now and in the future.
The world is a very complex topic in our today`s modern life, and I think many could feel lost whenever the media machines are pumping out all kind of news and offers 24 hours per day, and what we have seen and heard just a few minutes ago are already filed as history unless the topics are related to either world disasters or politics.
I do consider our concept for the organization “Artists in Action – Culture unites Cultures for Humanity” as a small contribution to connect the unconnected, meetings, exhibitions, concerts and events by different cultures following the urgent need for funds to aid programs and humanity to be established and carried out in reality to the benefit of the participants and the unconnected to be connected in a common goal for our activities worldwide.
We are on the way, driving on the highway and sometimes a pit-stop evaluating whatever we might have achieved until now. New “meeting points” will indeed be the platforms for further activity in our creative universe and up-coming arrangements are now in progress for the first “test events” where artists, musicians, singers and other individual persons will be invited to participate.
At the present stage we are working with those topics in Portugal, Gran Canary Islands, France and Denmark. It is our aim to have finished at least two “test events” before the end of 2010 and you will of course be informed accordingly in due course.
As far as the financial topics are concerned it is of course important that each area appointed as a “meeting point” will have the support by the city inclusive some local sponsors involved in each event and arrangement. We have already managed to involve some bigger international sponsors who will support us either financially or via PR to progress and contribute with knowledge to the organization worldwide.
“Rome was not built in one day” and we do prefer to working method by “SSS” …Small, Secure, Steps in order to avoid mistakes, misunderstandings and misuse of a serious topic related to humanity on earth.
….And this letter was written in an airplane between Antibes and Copenhagen ……Upon arrival it really proved that the changes in weather conditions also influenced the Danish highways and streets by lots of water that made the roads into floods and only possible to pass in a canoe.
It is however much more bad in other areas of the world, and a reminder to me, that we have a lot to do whether by small or big steps in the future, but please be reminded about the disaster in Pakistan where aid is urgently needed in funds and practical work. I am of course pleased to note, that Denmark has contributed with lots of funds so far being one of the five biggest contributors and number one if measured in average per person, but it could as well be a bad sign, where many countries are reluctant in contributions to the area.
All the best from
