”Culture Unites Cultures for Humanity”

Cultural Festival – Nazaré, Portugal

“Symphony of Human Unity” – 23 May – 13 June 2011

Nazaré city will in the period 23 May – 13 June 2011 be hosting a major cultural festival under the name “Symphony of Human Unity.” This cultural festival is organized by the Association “Artists in Action – Culture unites Cultures for Humanity” (AACCH) in collaboration with Nazaré city and the AACCH representatives in the region.

AACCH is a non-profit and NGO organization which main goals are unity via culture with other cultures in the work of humanity and various support programs, where people in distress can be helped wherever that may be in the world.

The cultural festival “Symphony of Human Unity” will present exhibitions, concerts, dances and other events in four different places – The Rural Hotel Quinta do Pinheiro, The Municipal Library, The Cinema and Theatre House, art works from schoolchildren in Nazare and workshops in a tent along the Nazaré `s lovely strand promenade

Preparations for these events has been ongoing over a longer period and interested artists can still sign up as participants in the project – it’s free to use a set position on payment of a small amount in administration costs.

The audience for the concerts will be able to experience everything from symphony concert, fado singing and music, ballet, solo concerts and vocal groups. You will also be able to hear lectures in the city auditorium and entertainment of various kinds in the exhibition areas.

The Organization “Artists in Action – Culture unites Cultures for Humanity” has today 52 representatives in as many countries worldwide, with focus on cultural activities and exchanges of experience and familiarity with each other across national borders. The cultural festival in Nazaré, Portugal is one of many established events across the world where the organization also seeks to establish a future venue for annual events and activities such as conferences, theme meetings and hubs for individual artists and other members of the organization.

We look forward to an eventful period with focus on Nazaré city and the cultural festival that will be launched on 23 May 2011.
